Our training centre is located in Kasba, one of South Kolkata’s most accessible and well-connected commercial areas. The centre offers purpose-built training rooms, a dedicated resource library, breakout spaces for group activities, and all the essential infrastructure for a world-class, in-person teacher training experience.
As Kolkata’s only ACT-accredited classroom teacher training centre, it stands as a trusted choice for educators across the city and nearby districts.

Course Delivery
The programme is designed through a blended learning format that combines intensive in-class training, live online sessions, and practical RPL-based learning to provide a flexible yet comprehensive professional development experience.
Participants will begin with 2 weeks of full-time, face-to-face training, focusing on practical teaching skills, classroom strategies, and hands-on learning experiences.
The remaining training component will be completed through 10 live online sessions (30 hours) conducted every Monday and Thursday, allowing participants to continue their learning journey with expert guidance while maintaining flexibility.
Participants will complete 17 MEPSC RPL sessions (51 hours) focused on recognition of prior learning, professional competencies, and workplace-based skill development.
The complete programme will be delivered over approximately 17 weeks (nearly 4 months), combining classroom learning, online interaction, and practical professional development.
Course Fees
Classroom Curriculum — 12 Modules
All modules are delivered in-person at Acropolis Mall. Module 7 includes supervised school observation visits — a classroom-exclusive component giving you real teaching floor experience before graduation.
How children learn across developmental stages — Piaget, Vygotsky, Bruner — with direct classroom applications from Nursery through Secondary level.
Contemporary teaching approaches with in-class practice sessions and peer micro-teaching demonstrations so you build confidence in front of a live group.
Hands-on Montessori material sessions, prepared environment design activities, and early literacy & numeracy methods for Nursery and Pre-Primary classrooms.
Design and deliver real lesson plans in front of your peers with structured trainer feedback each session. Covers backward design, learning outcomes, and assessment.
Role-play scenarios and in-class simulations for managing student behaviour, building routines, and creating an inclusive, respectful classroom environment.
Hands-on STEM activity design, EdTech tool walkthroughs, and cross-curricular project sessions. Includes a group STEM project presented on the final day.
Exclusive to classroom students — supervised observation hours at partner schools in Kolkata. Observe real teachers, document reflections, receive mentor feedback, and build your teaching portfolio.
Learn to create a safe, healthy, and inclusive environment while building respectful relationships with children. Develop essential skills to support special care needs and protect child rights.
Learn to plan engaging play-based and adult-led experiences that support children’s holistic development. Build skills to encourage self-expression, social-emotional growth, decision-making, and meaningful parent involvement.
Learn effective ways to involve parents in a child’s learning journey while maintaining ethical responsibilities. Develop communication skills to build positive and collaborative relationships with families.
Learn to observe, assess, document, and report children’s progress across key developmental domains. Use assessment insights to adapt learning programs and communicate progress effectively.
Develop effective workplace communication skills to coordinate confidently with colleagues, clients, and other stakeholders. Learn communication etiquette, teamwork practices, and appropriate ways to handle feedback and resolve concerns.

One of the most valuable parts of the classroom program is the supervised school observation — a component not available in the online mode. You visit real partner schools in Kolkata, observe experienced teachers in action, document reflections, and build a teaching portfolio with direct mentor feedback.
